Local SEO Specialist
Hennessey Digital, a leading search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing agency in North America, is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated Local SEO Specialist to join its team. The ideal candidate for this role is a consummate team player who is an excellent storyteller, is self-driven, has a problem-solving mindset, and has at least one (1) year of digital marketing agency experience.
We are a fully remote and highly collaborative team of digital marketing thought leaders located all over the country. We provide white-glove service to our clients, and we’re looking for a thoughtful team member who can ensure that all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on strategy.

The desired candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills—as well as be familiar with project management in a creative agency atmosphere.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Optimize, manage and monitor client’s Google My Business and Bing Places listings
- Implement Review and Reputation Management recommendations
- Manage and monitor citation discovery, clean-up and local citation building
- Work with client services team to provide updates and reporting on GMB and local SEO services
- Set up/create GMB posts tasks in Asana
- File reinstatement claims for suspended listings
- Flag/report GMB spam negatively affecting client listings
- Create Local SEO recommendations for client social media profiles (Facebook, LinkedIn, Yelp, etc)
- Field general Local SEO questions/tasks for clients (analysis/insights, reviews, GMB, citations, rankings, photos, etc) where necessary
- Run WhiteSpark reports as requested
- Respond to direct client requests/emails/calls where necessary
- Make on-page Local SEO recommendations as needed/requested (Technical & Content)
- NAP and map embeds on page
- Local Schema
Experience
- Local SEO experience is an advantage
- Experience using LocalFalcon, Yext, Whitespark or BrightLocal is an advantage
- Amazing written and verbal client communication
- Exceptional relationship-building skills
- Experience adapting, innovating, and embracing change
- Self-starter, very detail-oriented and has the ability to multi-task, and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and effectively escalate issues as needed while understanding the impact on the overall business
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
