Sarah Shives

Sarah Shives is a Content Writer at Hennessey Digital with a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and additional studies in fine arts, design, and visual communications. She has spent the past decade crafting content and copy across a wide range of industries, including tech, healthcare, education, civil law, trade work, hospitality, and environmentalism… just to name a few. With a brain that is equal parts creative and analytical, Sarah has a knack for taking complex topics and turning them into engaging content that is both search-friendly and genuinely enjoyable to read.

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Sarah made her way to Los Angeles after college before falling completely in love with the Pacific Northwest, where she’s happily rooted now. So many trees and green stuff!!! When she’s not working, she’s usually rolling dice in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign, planning ambitious DIY projects, or curled up watching a horror movie. Every October, she helps put on Stage Fright Festival, a queer horror theatre festival in Portland, and co-hosts an over-the-top Halloween party complete with handmade props. If none of the above are happening, she can be found wrapped in a cozy blanket reading a fantasy novel… or writing one.
