Thursday, April 1, 2021, North Hollywood, CA — Hennessey Digital recently announced the acquisition of their newest SEO client, famed Cambridge, Massachusetts-based law firm Dewey, Cheatem & Howe.
Marred by a string of losses of several high-profile cases and with its founder in the news for conduct that could lead to his disbarment, firm representative Lionel Hutz was seen shredding stacks of paperwork from a large box marked ‘EVIDENCE’ in his office.
When asked for comment, Hutz was quoted to say, “We’re happy to have a real partner in Hennessey Digital because they really understand how we do things around here. What’s a little corporate malfeasance among friends!” as he took a pull from a flask concealed in a desk drawer.
Hennessey Digital’s President & COO Scott Shrum is equally pleased about the partnership. “We’re excited to have a client that finally gets it. Black hat, white hat, straw hat, baseball hat… hell; we do it all!”
Noting the agency’s propensity for innovation, Shrum adds, “Even that hat where you put two beer cans in it and there’s a long straw running to your mouth. We got those, too.”
Jason Hennessey, founder and CEO of Hennessey Digital, acted erratic during a recent SEO strategy meeting with the client. In between sips from his beer helmet, Hennessey dispensed advice that raised eyebrows on a recent call, slurring, “Shit: just make allllllll this text white,” grinning as he dragged his cursor across the screen.
Friends and colleagues of Hennessey are worried about the direction the agency is heading with the Dewey, Cheatem & Howe relationship. Longtime friend and colleague Alex Valencia notes the recent change in Hennessey’s demeanor: “I don’t know, man: Jason’s always been a stand-up guy, but doing business with Lionel Hutz is career suicide. Hope he can recover from this one!”
About Hennessey Digital
Founded in 2015 by Mr. Black Hat SEO himself Jason Hennessey, Hennessey Digital has grown from a couple of weirdos to more than 120 global employees. Specializing in technical SEO, PPC, CRO, RnR, REO (Speedwagon), and TLC, Hennessey Digital helps clients get more leads with dubious practices and a questionable code of ethics. Hennessey Digital was named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America in 2019 and 2020, but with moves like this one, 2021 remains a big ol’ question mark.
