TOP WORK STRENGTHS: Adaptability, creativity, and mental stamina

MY FAVORITE THINGS: Playing and listening to music, being in nature, and laughing with friends.

Eddie Maurer is a Senior Content Writer for Hennessey Digital. He graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Psychology and made his first foray into content creation as a freelance YouTube video scriptwriter for Frederator Studios. During his time at Frederator, he particularly enjoyed the research component of his work which he carried into his next position at the pet-friendly travel website, PetsWelcome.com. At PetsWelcome, Eddie wrote blog posts and articles about pet health, pet ownership, and pet-friendly travel.

Eddie is a creative at heart and spends most of his free time writing and recording music. He plays guitar and piano and has even been known to sing on occasion. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends, biking, and going on nature walks.

My Fav Inspirational Speech

“When you go out into the woods, and you look at trees, you see all these different trees. And some of them are bent, and some of them are straight, and some of them are evergreens, and some of them are whatever. And you look at the tree and you allow it. You see why it is the way it is. You sort of understand that it didn’t get enough light, and so it turned that way. And you don’t get all emotional about it. You just allow it. You appreciate the tree. The minute you get near humans, you lose all that. And you are constantly saying ‘You are too this, or I’m too this.’ That judgment mind comes in. And so I practice turning people into trees. Which means appreciating them just the way they are.”― Ram Dass
