TOP WORK STRENGTHS: Creative and strategic thinking, communication and collaboration.
MY FAVORITE THINGS: Going to the gym, cooking/baking and spending time with my family and friends.
Mariana Sierra is a Graphic Designer at Hennessey Digital with a little over four years of experience. With a degree in Graphic Design, she loves that her work allows her to be creative while constantly learning, evolving, and finding new ways to bring ideas to life. She’s especially drawn to strategic thinking and communicating through both visuals and ideas. Basically, she likes making things look good, but she also wants to know why they work.
Born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia, Mariana is a creative at heart, but food might be her real first love. She loves cooking, eating, and experimenting in the kitchen, especially making sourdough bread (with varying levels of success). She’s also into sports, especially anything involving water or a beach, and loves traveling and discovering new cultures, preferably through their food. Japan is at the top of her travel list. When she’s not doing any of that, she’s probably spending time with her family and friends or being bossed around by her two cats, Kiwi and Koda.
I will absolutely plan an entire trip around where I’m going to eat.
Going to Japan
My hero of all time would have to be my mom. So much of who I am today is because of her. She taught me how to make the people around me feel important and special, and she’s the kind of person who lights up every room she walks into. She’s memorable and unforgettable in the best way. She also taught me the power of food and how it can bring people together around a table. She’s one of the strongest, most beautiful, hardworking, and empowering people I know, and I’m incredibly grateful to have her as my mom.
Ramen.
Lady Gaga. I’d love to be able to sing and play piano like her. I admire how creative and fearless she is, and how she turns music into a whole experience instead of just a song.
