Hennessey Digital, a leading search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing agency in North America, is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated PR Outreach Specialist to join its team as a contractor. The ideal candidate for this role is a consummate team player who is self-driven, target oriented, and has 1 year of Digital PR or Outreach experience.
We are a fully remote and highly collaborative team of digital marketing thought leaders located all over the country. We provide white-glove service to our clients, and we’re looking for a thoughtful team member who can ensure that all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on strategy.
We’re a rapidly growing company, so it’s important that you have an entrepreneurial attitude, an embracing mindset toward change, and can manage/prioritize multiple concurrent projects. The desired candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills—as well as be familiar with building media lists and conducting outreach to support an SEO strategy.
The Outreach Specialist sits within the Digital PR team and is responsible for building relationships with journalists and outreaching various campaigns to land top-tier links for our clients. You will work closely with our Data Specialists and Content Writers on each campaign to ensure we meet our KPIs.
The Outreach Specialist is responsible for building and creating all media lists for their campaigns, as well as creating and executing the outreach strategy that will result in coverage for our clients. Your role will include creating unique email templates, effectively A/B testing templates to understand what is performing well, and adapting your outreach approach accordingly.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Outreach our Digital PR campaigns to consistently gain top-tier coverage in high-quality and relevant publications in line with client KPIs.
- Create unique email templates to A/B test, understanding what is working and adapting your approach accordingly.
- Understand the newsworthy elements of our campaigns to create and execute successful campaigns.
- Correctly report on the results of your outreach efforts from a campaign KPI perspective.
- Consistently strive to improve your outreach efforts and the results for your clients.
- 1 skill-related training per quarter
- Other duties as assigned

- One year experience in a PR or digital role is preferred.
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
Compensation
This is a contractor role, ideal for an international candidate.
