Ilona Townsend is a People Success Coordinator for Hennessey Digital. With a passion for plants and animals, Ilona received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Louis University with an emphasis in conservation and evolution. She also got a minor in Theology, just for fun. After graduation, she pivoted and started to enjoy Human Resources! Add on an MBA and a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management and the ratio of business to biology is now even.
Ilona lives in the countryside outside of St. Louis, Missouri with her husband, three miniature dachshunds (Liberty, Belle, and Independence) and two outdoor cats (Minnie and Agatha). As a person with many interests, Ilona enjoys reading (especially Harry Potter!), baking, Star Wars, and anything to do with the outdoors. As she lives on a farm, you’ll most likely find her horseback riding, hiking, kayaking, or reading in her hammock.

Travel to France and successfully use my French language skills, go on an Alaskan Cruise, take a tour of historical locations in England
Favorite food of all time:
Blueberry lemon cake with a pot of Irish Breakfast Tea from the London Tea Room here in St. Louis

Make It Fun; Don't Be A Jerk - I love a fun work environment. If everyone is "making it fun," I believe it fosters all of the other guiding principles, i.e. people will be more likely to be honest, to always want to learn more, and to do what's right.
