MY FAVORITE THINGS: I love going to concerts. I love specific bands, but am always down for some new sound or new musician. I even travel to hear music! I also love finding new places to eat. The past few years I've grown to appreciate chefs and the culinary fields. There is nothing more satisfying than stuffing your face with a flavor or taste that brings you back to old memories or creates new ones.

Greg Herrmann’s journey to becoming a master in the learning and development world was not an obvious one. His background in retail sales, vacation rental account management, and paid search represent several (but not all) of the touchpoints that influenced how and why he teaches to this day. Greg graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in English Literature & Composition from UMass Boston—Greg fail English? That’s unpossible!

Greg believes in a strong, collaborative voice behind the company and establishing trust through fruitful and meaningful relationships, which sometimes requires him to harness himself in the heat of a passionate discussion. (Translation: He gets pretty darn passionate about different stuff and can get lost in conversation.) If it’s not about Dave Matthews Band, you will find him engrossed in conversation about Godzilla, Boston sports, any music/band (except for modern country), Guy Fieri, movies, and grab-bag topics.

On my bucket list:

I want to skydive.

My #1 HD Core Principle

Stay Nimble; Never Stop Learning - There are some obvious reasons I love this one. Being a professional in the Learning & Development space, I always want to see employees pushing their learning to the next level and with our company I can point to it within our core values.

My Fav Song

Dave Matthews Band - Say Goodbye...however my favorite version of it is the version that first got me into the band and funny enough it's Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds. -replace the movie link with this text: Sam Bern's TED Talk. Sam suffered from Progeria and was actually a local from Massachusetts. He also had a love for Dave Matthews Band and had exquisite taste. His TED Talk is about making the most of life.
