Growing up on the outskirts of Washington D.C., Dan wanted to be a writer from a young age. Many years after starting as a general assignments reporter, where he covered everything from local crime sprees to county fairs, he eventually became more interested in the business side of writing.

In the last few years, his attention has shifted to the marketing side of writing and SEO in particular. Dan has learned a lot in this changing industry, and has used his experience to build SEO strategies from scratch for small businesses, driving their online visibility and transforming their presence in their respective industries. His journalistic background combined with SEO know-how gives him a unique background that allows him to create content that is both engaging and effective.

Dan’s love for travel has taken him far beyond the borders of D.C. One of his most memorable adventures was a road trip from his home to Yellowstone, an epic journey spanning 19 states. Dan’s family is his anchor, and he enjoys spending his adventures with his wife and teenage son. However, when he’s not with his family or working, you’ll often find him lost in the pages of a good book.
